Toolkit to Help Sports Parents Maximize Youth Sport Experience

Having worked with sports parents form over 20 years, I have found that most parents see the youth sport experience today very different than the one they remember from when they were kids.  Today’s young athletes specialize in one sport, play travel sports year-round, sometimes use performance enhancing supplements, and deal with sports burnout on a more regularly occurring basis.  It is for these reasons that we assembled a Parents “toolkit” designed to provide parents hands-on ideas, tips, strategies, and solutions to help with the growing number of contemporary psychosocial issues and problems kids in youth sports face today.

The Parents Toolkit will provide you:

  • Parents videos to help with issues commonly seen in youth sports
  • Mind of Steel sport psychology audio package to help you help your child improve his or her mental toughness, and thereby maximize athletic development and experience more frequent on-field athletic success
  • The Parents Playbook, a hands-on guide to help with issues like playing time, sports burnout, and sport retirement
  • Sport Success 360, a reference manual with very specific strategies to help prevent (and respond to) common issues in youth sports (Sport Success 360 PLUS audio program is also included)
  • Sport Performance Assessment, our paper version of the popular Sport Performance Assessment app from the Apple apps store
  • Positive Transitions for Student Athletes, the first textbook designed to help student athletes successfully transition from sports once they playing days come to an end.

Youth sports have become a very complex, and often complicating, experience for many parents – prompting many to become frustrated in their attempts to find answers and thereby maximize the sport experience for their children.  The Parents Toolkit is designed to help you help your child have a fun, safe, and meaningful sport experience through your guidance and support – pick up your Parents Toolkit today!
